                                                                          EXHIBITS AND BAZAARS

Apart from our regular artistic activities, Poliana offers its workshop for artistic and cultural events. Poliana holds a variety of exhibits all year round.  Every June we exhibit our students’ best works of art, which are displayed for 10 days at our workshop. We also encourage new artists by enabling them to organize their own art shows at Poliana.
Bazaars are held at Poliana in order to raise funds for good causes.  These bazaars are of artistic character and everyone is invited to display their creations on the condition that a percentage of the profits are donated to a particular cause.

Winter Bazaar
December 2012
The first event for Poliana in her new home was an art bazaar, with the hope of raising funds for people in need, in particular for the refugees, living in dismal quarters outside the town.
The bazaar for the needy took place on December 29 & 30, with many participating artists and artisans, and donations of all kinds, to be sold for this cause.
In addition, there was a presentation and projection of 2 short documentary films by Stelios Kraounakis and Efi Latsoudi, with an entailing discussion.
The first night ended with soothing music by saxophone player Irene Papanikolao.
Thank you everyone for your participation in this attempt for a good cause.
